I just got an 03 CBR600rr ran great till a couple a weeks ago.. after i start it and ride up the street sometimes it just dies. Now i have an even bigger problem, it goes into gear, sounds fine... revs up but dont go like it should, i mean i can barely break 30mph. I havn''t rode it much now that this has happened, in fear of creating an even bigger problem. The fan works and everything sounds good but i dont know what to do!! help please
Thanks

i hope not, i changed oil and filter.. then siphoned the gas outa the tank. I filled it up with reg fuel not premium 93 octane, bein a newb and not knowin it would make that much of a difference, so im hoping that will do it.

umm...so this started right after an oil change??? What kind of oil did you use?? I highly doubt putting in 87 or 89 octane is going to dog your bike like your saying it is. The wrong oil however could be the culprit.
