Great, 2 days before my first trackday i run into this problem while im flushing out the radiator.  This bolt:

While i was torqueing (9ft/lbs) down it felt like it wasn''t going anywhere.  Then i pull it out only to find the bolt broke it half   And the remaining half is stuck in there while i have the short stub of the bolt.  HOw in the hell can i fix this and how can i possibly temporarily fix it for this trackday.  I''m so pissed.

there is a tool sears sells its like a reverse drill. it goes in the reverse so when it does catch it actually takes the bolt out. If that doesnt work only way is drilling it out and retapping it. or you could possibly notch it and try to take it out with a screw driver.

Also 9ft/lb seems a bit excessive for a bolt like that. my cam bolts on my car are only torqued down to around 9ft lb. For a piece like that i would just seal it and use no more then your hand and wrench to tighten it. If you see it is leaking then i would consider getting a bigger wrench but thats about it
