i was just looking at my vin yesterday and realized that my bike was built in 1/92 so that got me to wonder who has the oldest 900? and post up some pics about her. Last year i got her in august and she had 11k and i just rolled over 23k a week ago so here are some pics of her as of right now.

nice bike! it looks super clean. mine is comming up on 23k miles also and i have another w/18k miles they are the same bike as yours (same colors). my vin''s are 8/92 & 1/92. how did you post your pictures, i would like to post mine also. thanks

I love that color!

The very first 900rr I saw was in college and it was just after the bike was introduced to the world by Honda and believe me, it was making serious waves among riders with it''s groundbreaking performance and extremely light weight and extreme power...it looked just like your bike!

Mine might be a bit younger than yours, but it is the same colors and about the same mileage.

I gotta check the VIN and see what month/year it was built.

thanks for the compliments. i try to keep her shining but it is hard when i drive around 100 miles a day on my day off. and rons93rr i post up my pics after uploading them to photobucket.com i copy the direct link (it looks like http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m174/JonBrown2989/PIC_2147.jpg) and click on the little icon

and add the direct link into that box that pops up and there ya go.

I checked my VIN on the frame and it says 8/92

jon and ron (or isnt that RonJon''s?...dude) beat me by a month. in fact i''ve asked this question before and both you guys came up with lower vins...mine is 00822 in 2/92

cool but is''nt 1/92 before 2/92??? in the 2nd month yours a one of the first 822 made for that month right? i think we still beat you even though mine says 00441. where''s your picture?

whaddya mean...i said both of you guys bikes are older, by a month, and those numbers are consecutive from day one, which means you have CBR900RR number 441, ever, and mine was made almost four hundred bikes later. are you waking and baking, or what
