There are a lot of good points beint put out here on this thread. I''m 6''5" and 205 Lbs, ride at about 7000-10000 feet in altitude regularly and usually can only get my (jetted & piped) 94 F2 to an indicated 130 MPH. Hondas are known for high speedos so I figure I''m seeing about 120. Thats where the "hand of God" stops my acceration. With my size and altitude I''d need more bike to go faster. I''m good with 120 though and don''t actually push it that high very often.

I got mine up to 145 and a little change.  Still had a little ass.  Being in NJ... particularly south jersey there is plenty of road to open it up on.  I lost about 15-20 with my sprockets now tho.

ORIGINAL: rray12288 sounds like its time for a new 1000RR!!

Either that or buy a small plane mate
I know I sound like yu dad ... yer I am old enough
but....
130 - 135 - 150 gee wizz ... who is doing these speeds anywhere but on a wide freeway when no ones around (hopefully) and very very rarely I bet...

I have run these speeds many times myself like most crazzies ...
but...
Does it really matter if your ride is running a few mph down from the speed of light ?...
Do not think I would sell her over that one ....
( Although buying a new 1000rr would be kool ) for other reasons ..

I recon these days the speed thing is a bit over talked ..
When was the last time you were passed on the road while tootling along at mere 130mph ?? and thought, dam this shits me when shes running like a dog ??

Yer ... well I have never been overtaken at top/max gallop what ever my ride felt like doing on any particular day on a public road ...

Get caught and kiss yu licence good by for a longggg time guys
