Some real American muscle! No Japanese V6s here...only V8s and 330 rear tires!

Descent burnout...in super slow motion... with music to entertain even the least impressed!

Lol that video got tagged America on youtube.. hehehhe man that engine sounds sexy as hell. I loved the burnout vid too, I wonder what they did to get the camera so smooth in slow motion.

That is a really cool vid. The slow-motion is awesome quality.
On a ricier note, here''s a pic of my turbocharged 1.3L rotary RX8. 253 rear wheel HP at 7lbs of boost in a 2900lb car with stock exhaust. Would easily be in the 275-280 rwhp range with an aftermarket exhaust.

I''ve always like the RX8''s external looks, but they were just not quick enough from the factory.  300 HP would''ve made it a real contender, but for the price too many people would rather buy something else.

BTW, looks like that K&N is on backwards, am I wrong?

^ rx8s wouldve been awesome had they come turbod from the factory.... and personally, Id take an FD rx7 over an 8 any day   (but the k&n does look funny in the pic)

also, vp... what kind of numbers are you putting down in the stang?

The K&N isn''t on backwards. It''s a reverse cone, and I had to special order it because I couldn''t find another one that would fit the inlet tube on the BOV. It''s a Syanpse Engineering Synchronic BOV (no diaphragm) and actually sucks air in under vacuum.
As it sits, I can smoke the tires through the 1st three gears, and it can be scary to drive in the rain. It will eat stock GT Mustangs, SRT4''s, etc for lunch.
The reason the RX8 is so special is: A) it''s a rotary! B) the suspension that they gave it from the factory is sooooo silky smooth. It really does handle like butter, and is ready to hit the track straight from the factory.
