I see a lot of posts and most bikes are only "young" in travelling distance.

My Cane has done 70,000 kilometres and is tight as.  No CCT hassle, etc.

Curious to know what the "age" of other bikes out there are.

Only 37K miles because it had been "parked" for the last 5 years.  It''s back on the road running strong with no CC simptoms.

Mine is ''88 and 45k miles. Supposedly the engine only has 32k though. Some rattle at start up, then nothing. NO cct that I know of. Runs incredibly strong!

''87 with 7500 kilometers on it. Got if off a friend who''s had it since new and hardly rode it. Have had it for 2 years now and only put in 2000 kilometers myself. 1 cam chain and tensioner, 1 set of platinum plugs, 1 rectifier, 1 set of plug cables, set of tires, clutch lever and fluid reservoir, and paint job since I acquired it. Had a Kerker racing exhaust put on it by my friend.

Still goes smooth as , pulls like a train ...but ... Camchain''''s ready to exit stage left ... it will leave of its own accord if I don''''t swap it out soon :-)
