i bought my first bike 4 months ago, a 2008 cbr600rr pearl orange and black. with already 5400 miles on it i still get a kick out of it every time i ride away.

Welcome to the forums!! :-) .. you still get a kick after 4 months, and so you should!! ... I bought my F3 ten years ago and still get a kick all these yers later ..its never changed for me ...
