My bike is supposed to have an 18 Litre tank (yes im canadian) anyways i ran the bike till the last light started blinking and then filled it up.. I was only able to fit 13.5 litres in. where is the other 4.5 Litres ?? any idea ??

reserve, and all the gas wont run out of the tank.

well i know we have 4.8 gallons.. light is flashing at 4.1 or so used up, so there is more than half a gallon still in the tank. its so if you get to that point your not actually empty and you get some damn gas

I know when the light flashes there is still some gas left, but 4.5 Litres remaining?? thats a quarter of a tank. thats quite a bit for a "reserve" isnt it?
I get about 200km from full, till the time the light flashes. with that being said, if i have a quarter of a tank left when the light flashes, I should get an extra 50 km till the tank is bone dry?? how many K''s does everyone else get on a tank till the light comes on?

When my light flashes, and fill up, it''''s usually only takes 3.9 to 4.1 gallons, depending on how long I rode with it flashing. And the flashing bar only serves as a "low fuel" indicator......warning that you have less than a gallon remaining.

My light doesn''t flash. I actually ran out of gas thinking that it would. It just goes down to the last bar. What''s wrong with my bike?

You probably have a sensor that is either out of adjustment or needs to be adjusted/replaced. I know that I''ve heard some people say that their gas guages are off on the 07''s, and that there might have been a recall on that. I would check into it either way.
