Hi, I recently bought an ''06 F4i, and naturally I want to do something about that silly mudflap. I was thinking about this Hotbodies undertail:

Now, I''m also thinking I might have the bike repainted in the future, so my question is this: if I put one of these on the bike (prepainted in the stock blue, let''s say), can it be taken apart, signals removed, etc. with reasonable ease for painting, or am I better off waiting until I go for the repaint, and doing the undertail at that time?
As an aside, I''d be happy to hear any opinions on these ''tails, or suggestions of others I should look into. Thanks.
