I just replaced my chain and sprockets with a Regina stock kit(15/43) on my 1998 CBR F3 600. The bike was making horrible noise from first acceleration and during ride. So when I uncovered my front sprocket it had in and out movement(left side of bike to right side of bike). The new sprocket had the same problem, I fixed with a VW Bug generator shim, but what is on the other side of that shaft the front sprocket is on? The cluch assembly? (This is my first street bike sorry). Also after replacing the sprocket I can turn it like a door knob about 45 degrees back and forth in gear. Is that too much slack on the shaft? Any help would be great, and if I''m not explaining it good enough ask me to clairify.
Thanks,
Josh
