I am having issues with a jet kit, but since I have the carbs off and have access to motor is there preventative or performance maintenance I should do (ie CCT, cooler thermostat, etc)?

P.S. I just bought this bike and am not familiar as I''d like to be with its quirks (there seem to be a lot with these bikes)
