The RX-7 visor mechanism SUCKS big time. I have a 700 dollar Nakano replica and now it''s junk until a plastic part arrives in a few weeks (or more).

Soooo, I went down to the store and bought a beautiful Shoei X-11 and now I can ride safe knowing that the visor hinge isn''t some po0sie over engineered crap.

With visors it''s another 700 dollars well spent!

That is a nice lid. Full retail is $690 or so...mine was $399 with free shipping...so, yeah, I grew a big bushel of smug after that. I''ve noticed the X-11 is a tad heavier than the RX-7, but quieter and better shaped.

Looks like wilzgarage is having a sale on X-11''s if anyone is interested in saving $150-$200 under what The X paid...that is, if you care about what money is worth...
