I have a 2003 CBR 600RR. I was wondering what to do with the stator cover and I think the other side is the crank case cover or idle cover? I want to get a few things powder coated, but I saw how good powder coating looks and was unsure if I should just powder coat the covers or just replace the stator cover with this:

They also offer one for the other side which I have not found yet. I assume that it is lighter than the stock covers. What should I do? is the weight that important on my bike. I am 185lbs.
