Hey guys. I have become intrigued recently with the NSR 250. I realize that this bike was never a production vehicle here, but have found out that some have made it to the states. I was just wondering what would be the best way to go about getting one that you can ride on the street legally. Found out most have been bought on the grey-market and usually aren''t street legal even though they have all lights and horn. I have done some research but I am coming up short. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess it all depends on where you live. Here in Ontario, it is not a problem to insure, and register a grey market bike. Make some phone calls to your local ministry of transportation and call insurance to see what they say.

Infact, here is my little grey market CBR250RR with an ''89 NSR250 right behind it at a local bike night.

Those NSR''s are sweet!! VERY quick for a 250 around town. Nice a blue smoke pouring out of the pipes. :D

I would love to get an NSR or a TZR 250, I just don''t have the money right now. Once I do though....
