my friend died doing shit like that.  he was drunk and was walking on the tracks and didnt move out of the trains way in time.

well there were two sets of tracks and they were walking on the set that the trains usually dont run on.  they must have been doing some maintenance on the tracks and switch tracks.  he wasnt paying attention and was really drunk.  and when he turned around it was to late.

moral of the story, don''t play around on train tracks.

kinda interesting vid tho, quick look at how you react to a really scary situation, panic sets in, you get disoriented and you screw up, dude was lucky tho. I think the vast majority of us wouldn''t have reacted much differently to the same thing

My reaction would have been to either, wait for the train or run across the tracks quickly, and I would have reacted when I heard the giant f#@$king train on its way.
