Just bought this yesterday, its my first bike and after 200 miles I LOVE IT!

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm63/lakaiguy19/P7260393.jpg

Its a 93'''' with just under 18,000 miles

As you can see I''''ve got the ugly version of the two tone paint scheme. I want to paint but first I need to figure out what i''''m looking at.

The side tail fairings dont seem to match up with the bike. The pic above is with the two rear tabs above the holes, so when i actually shove the tabs in the holes the gap is very noticeable.

Apparently ghetto rigging a 98'''' taillight to the bike is considered a "98'''' conversion" according the previous owner.

I didnt want to make the post long so let me know what else you need, Thanks.

Okay here''''s what''''s wrong with your bike.

1) Your bike is a 93'''' F2; which means the fairings (upper&sides) on your bike are F3 fairings with an F3 headlight.

2) F3 front fairings/side fairings do not vary from 95 - 98. But between 97-98 the tail sections were developed with a more sleek look which was what your previous owner of your bike was trying to do.

3) From the picture, you have a 97-98 seat as well. All you need is the 97-98 tail light bracket, and tail fairings. You should be fine after you get those and your bike will look 10 times better.

PM me with anymore questions.
