I would like to lower my bike a 1/2 inch. From what I''ve read, this can be done by adjusting the rear spring setting. How do I change the setting? I see the numbers, and it looks like it''s set on 3 ( I think ) . I''d like to lower it to 2, and see how much of a difference that makes, but I can''t figure out how to adjust it. My bike didn''t come with the manual, but I do have the tool kit. Anyone feel like giving me a step by step? I''d appreciate it.

that sets the preload for the rear shock. It could lower the bike roughly 1/2" but it would feel like you were riding on marshmallows unless you weigh like 90lbs lol.

Well, lol, Not much more than that.. I''m only 125 lbs.. I want to try it and see how it goes. If i dont like it, I''ll just have the local honda shop drop the bike for me. Ok so how do I change the preload?

Use the tool that looks like a question mark (?). Right above the numbers on the preload adjustment are holes that the tool hooks into. Turn to the number you want. Nothing to it.
