So I have a 1998 smokin joes, and it has the black seat on it

Though I''m really not concerned about the seat too much, I would like to find the seat that matches the smokin joes color scheme (white yellow and deep purple). I think they put those seats on the 97 model. Anyone know where I can find that seat?

All of the factory seats were black. No matching colors from Honda. If you saw one, it was a custom seat. You can try companies like Corbin, or Sargent. There are others too.

Most of the ones I have seen were black but I have seen others that were purple or purple and black. I have even seen yellow and purple. It is funny that you mention this. I purchased a 97 f3 5 months ago. It is yellow with a black wind screen, the brake calipers were painted blue and the seat was yellow with a kind of tribal like purple design stiched on it. Now I think the guy I bought it from was trying to match the blue calipers but if you look at it it is purple. I have since changed the seat (found a black one on ebay) to go with a black/yellow with some little blue and carbon fiber accents. I had been thinking about recovering it or either selling it. Once I figure out how to post pictures I will list one of how it looks

Guys, the seat you are looking for is a cover made by "Second Look". They are on the internet. These seat covers, that replace your original stapled on units, sell for about $90. Check them out.
