^^ My thoughts exactly, but as always, you have a better way to get the point accross than I have.

Sorry to hear about this bro.......always kills me to see this happen to someone I know or don''''t.  Hope he pulls through and isn''''t hurting too bad.  Best wishes to him.

I hate how they always blame it on the rider....never the dumbass driver in the car, who''s on the phone, drinking coffee, and smoking a cigarettes when they are the one at fault......pisses me off that a biker who is just out for a ride has fingers pointed at them every time something happens like this.  PROFILING!  They should be ashamed of themselves.....Fin reporters!

Thanks guys, yea he only got a simple citation which I guess is all they could do. Just doesnt seem right.

thats all they can do, but in court when the guy is sued... that failure to yeild will show that he is at fault... just like when the guy rearned me they gave him a ticket for following too close

sorry to hear...and they are not blaming it on the rider, they say "Burgess reportedly turned left in front of Johnson, causing the accident."

Hope he heals up quick and gets back to school!

yea, I''m with ya on that one. the report states fact..he was heading down the road and collided with a vehicle...that much is true black and white. the reporter then elaborates stating the dude in the mustang turned left in front of him so if the reader of the article has any idea that the biker caused the accident than I''m afraid they are completely illiterate. btw, that''s not very far from my side of town, about 20 minutes. don''t know either one of em tho. hope he turns out okay, glad he wore his helmet. keep your fingers over that brake on roads like this fellas, never know when shit like this is gonna happen.

He is doing alright. In very good spirits and actually has been in the hospital ever since. They are moving him to another hospital where he will undergo rehab for the broken femur. There is much he can do since there are three giant rods in his legs. He is gonna be fine tho in time,
