I have a disk lock, it works pretty well, however.

It takes a few guys to pick it up and throw it in the back of a truck in under 30 seconds. The lock wont do much good in that event.

A u-lock might be more versatile.  In my neighbor''s garage where I keep the bike, I have a Kryptonite anchor bolted to the wall, and use the u-lock to chain the bike to the anchor.  When I''m out riding, I use the u-lock by itself, to immobilize the bike.  But like what was said, three or four guys and a pick-up or van can make the bike disappear in a matter of seconds.

Hello Munson,

At what point do you have the U-lock on the bike? Swingarm or ?

I assume you park close to the wall and walk it the rest of the way in? Right side toward the wall?

Thanks for the feedback as I''m considering something like that also.

Have Xena Disc Lock, no complaints, i keep in locked on rear disc, as for the front i just lock the steering, this way my bike would have to be literaly picked off the ground to be stolen etc
