When I switch between low and high beams my headlight sometimes goes out all together.  I then have to toggle the switch back and fourth a handful of times until the lights come back. Would you guys vote switch? or something else is broken before I tear it all apart?

Thanks.

no way i just had the same problem, first the fan wasnt working then the low beam, then a read left signal light, then the high beam but if i toggled it back n forth sometimes it would work. my buddy(mechanic) came over yesterday and traced all the wiring to the left read lcd signal light connector wasnt making a complete contact therefore it wasnt grounding properly. he replaced it with a butt connector and everything works now.... so wiggle all the wirring harness plugins before you dish out $$$ ona a new switch....

The contact is dirty.  It''s not BROKEN as in shot.  Take it apart and clean it with contact cleaner (electronic, not eye).
Mine did the same thing after riding in the rain alot one season, the corrosion got it and would not make a good contact. Clean it and all will be well with the world.
