I am trying to find a large roll of carbon fiber that will be flexable enough to mold around corners (so I can do my air ducts).  Some kind that wont leave crease marks.  Maybe a kidnd that is installed with a heat gun or hair dryer?  I want to cover my front fender, air ducts, and a few other things.

ANY SUGGESTIONS????

Thanks everyone!

so what you''re looking for isn;t carbon fiber at all.  you want Vinyl that LOOKS like carbon fiber.  i know pepboys sells it.  try a local sign shop?  its REALLY flippin hard to get the ducts done, i could NOT get mine no matter how slow or patient i was.  good luck

CF look vinyl is what you are talking about. Real CF has a vacum n resin process it goes through.

Its not to hard, I did the ram air covers, air intakes, and chain guard on my F4. Will be trying it on the rr hugger n chain guard soon.

And look on ebay. I been getting 25'' rolls for about $25.

making real cf parts isn''t that hard, and is worth it. but vinyl works well too. For tricky corners, just use a hair drier to make it more flexible and it''ll mold and stretch around it a lot easier.

I think I will spend the rest of the $180 im not going to spend on that part on something worth while.

I did my foot pegs and they look fine...they look almost exactly like the $70 ones on eBay but I paid .99 cents from Advanced Auto.

The point of CF is weight savings, so it''''''''s pretty lame in my opinion to use the fake stuff for looks.

bla bla bla....I have the money to buy all carbon fiber but whats the point of dropping all that when you can make something that looks the exact same!!  And Im not going for "weight reduction" as im not into racing.....and I can wheelie for as long as the road stays straight bud.
