Hey y''all, I am the new owner of a 1994 CBR1000F that only had 6200 miles when I picked it up (found via craigslist, up to 7.5k miles now.) All it needed was a fluid change, clean off the chain, and a new set of Pilot Powers. I am really enjoying the heck out of this bike.  Only mod I''m planning is adding a set of hard bags that are on the way for the occasional road trip.
Thanks to all who post in this section, your info has already been a great help!

Welcome! Wow that bike was never ridden! I bought my ''96 two years ago with only 10,000 on the odo and it had the original tires!
And I thought mine had low miles.
Great find. You''ll enjoy it for sure.

Hey CB Redleg,

I see your a neighbor of mine!  Im in Montgomery.  These are awesome bikes and fun to ride!!  I have had mine about 4 months now and I thought i was buying a 2nd "older project bike" with 40k miles, but these bikes are so reliable all I have had to do is get the maintenance up to my standards and ride!

Welcome! The ''94 paint is one of my favorites, so I love mine. I put a 3pc. set of GIVI bags on mine. Nice set up for me and the Mrs.

I have a set of Givis for mine as well (e-bay find - two E36 cases and a wingrack).  Any trouble/suggestions for putting on the rack?

I didn''t have any problems on install that I recall. If you have the correct adapter kit for the rack it should go right on. May have been some plastic trimming on the inner fender/turn signal mount? BTW got my ''94 October of 05 with 8500 miles on the clock, now have 26k.

Thanks!  That''s good to know.  I got the adapter kit from Twisted Throttle, so I have a good project for this Sunday.
