Ride Engineering''''s 2008 CBR 1000 fender eliminator kit has cosmetically made my bike look amazing! If you are looking to remove the atrocious stock undertail this is a great product. The fit and finish is nice! The kit was not easy to install but the insructions were very helpful and detailed. It took me about an hour to install. I was not pumped on the $199.95 cost, but after shoping around I noticed it was cheaper than the other kits. I also got the Ride Engineering, carbon fiber tnak pad, spools, axle blocks and billet oil plug. These guys are down the street from me and produce high quality product! Here is the product link for the fender eliminator.

Yeah, I know! If my wife only knew, there might be some problems. But my first love is my bike!

did the wiring plug in to stock connectors or did you have to splice?

I had to splice the wires, but I wired it so that I could continued to use the plug for easy removal.

Did you have to do any cutting of the body to install it.
