ORIGINAL: SpiritRR The Ninjas come with Bridgestones, I believe. But yeah, it''''s true that OEM compound Qualifiers are not the same tires you buy off the shelf. Plus yours have motorcycle manufacturing/shipping grime all over them... Diablos are treating me better than Scarlett on a cold winter''''s night...so I say Pirelli anyway. Spirit, i actually wear my tires in to the EDGES w/ in a few hours of having them put on. i just weave back and forth a little more, then a little more, then a liiiiiiiiittle more on a road that has little traffic. all the slick film has been long gone from my tires. pirelli''s, i''ve been wanting to try them, but every time i go to buy tires i just cant beat the price i get PP''s for ($230), and thats for top shelf tires. plus i love the profile, how they just ffffffffffffffall right into the turns. but i wouldnt mind giving them a shot when i have more $ to toss around.

Oh, I know exactly how you serve fresh chicken lol...but I''m convinced tires that come from inside motorcycle manufacturing plants suffer a type of grimy osmosis that takes away grip, even after you scrub them in. I could be wrong, but if I ever buy a brand new bike again...those OEM tires are going bye-bye without a single mile.

Swap them out ASAP, My friend had them on his 1krr and always complained but hesitated to change them right away and soon after he low sided for no apparent reason while hitting some clovers.. (we went around at least 8 times in a row, so i KNOW they werent cold)

I ran pirelli''''s and liked them a lot more than dunlops. But, I like PP a lot more than I like the pirellis. I had a few close calls with my pirellis on several occasions. Nothing I didnt make it out of, but a rear tire breaking loose when you dont anticipate it sucks. Ive heard that the factory tires actually have a different compound in them than the aftermarket ones. Not sure if its true, but supposedly the bike manufacturers have certain specs the tire manufacturer has to follow. Apperantly grip isnt one the specs....lol. You''''d think they would just let the profesionals at the tire company suggest a tire for thier bike and call it good. if you find a tire that works for you, stick with it. PP are probably the best grip for life tire out there. I have freinds that run on race tires and swear by them. But I dont want to change my tires every 500 miles like they do. I can run with them all day long and never break traction, so I don''''t see the need for a tire that sticky. Plus, after so many heat cycles, those race tires become hard and greasy. PilotPowers rule.....

I have ran dunlop qualifiers my last set and currently have 5k on this set....you cant run 3 mins and expect them to grip like the PP....I love my qualifiers, I had PP when I got the bike and they wore so freakin fast, i replaced them after 2k miles of owning the bike(and the guy said he only put 1.5k on them) I have yet to have a bit of a problem out of my qualifors, I take turns fast all day and not once have they ever slipped.
