does anyone know where to find a good pic of a 1996 smokin joe f3. i found 98, but no 96s. Wasn't sure i have a yellow/puple/white/black and everyone ask if it is the smokin joe bike. It doesn't say it so i don't know.

hey i'll post some pics of my bike. i have a '96 smokin joe edition. the only mod added was a hindle exhaust.

the guy i bought my bike off of said its a smokin joes, but was repainted... is there any way to find out? on the VIN it has 98CBRF3 SE if that helps...?

I believe that the SE part of the VIN designates the SPECIAL EDITION

yea but i mean is the special edition the smokin joes or was there any other "special editions" because i know the 96? had SJR on their vin to show it was a smokin joes..

I was always told that a cbr600se was a smoking joe.

'97 is not a smokin' joes. Though they did have a purple one that looked a lot like one. I miss my old bike.

i got a smoking joe '96 too! is it the same as an ordinary cbr?? i got a d n' d slipper. i love my bike it' s my second girlfriend!!! i'm from quebec and the summers are short here soooo.. gotta go for a ride! see ya!!!

96 and 98 were the only two years that the Smokin Joe's bikes were offered..the 97 is a Smokin Joe's inspired paintjob

If the 97' isn't a Smokin Joe, why does it have the Miguel DuHamel signature on the tank? And why does it have the camel from Smokin Joe cigarettes on the front fairings?

My bike looks just like the one in the pic above me. So if the purple tank and fairings were switched what bike did they come off of to have the camel and signature on them? If its not a Smokin Joe I definitely would like to know.
