I changed my oil the 1st time and noticed the left side belly pan had some funny small bumps and that the Honda decal was wrinkeling a bit. When I dropped the pan I noticed about a 4x3 section below the heat tape that has began to melt. There is plenty of clearance between the pan and the pipe and the bike runs cool, I put a Jardine slip on Friday so really havent ridden it much.I have had many bikes and never had this problem. Both sides feel equally hot to the touch when I get off the bike. The dealership is ordering me a replacement left side pan and will put more heat tape all around.

Has this happened to any other owners and will it keep happening? Thanks
