I know technically this belongs in the 954 section but I never post there so I''m putting it here. Last night I was out for a little ride. I wasn''t doing anything stupid, just enjoying a nice night. I had just taken off a little quickly from a stop sign, not like a drag race launch, just ran it through first a little fast. I got up to about 50, shifted into second and backed off. My girlfriend was on her bike a few hundred yards behind me when this drunk idiot backed out of a driveway and hit me. Apparently, he was fighting with his white trash whore girlfriend, jumped in his car, threw it in reverse and backed out of the driveway with his foot on the floor. I just barely heard the tires spinning and was trying to figure out what the noise was then BAM!! I''m flying through the air an have no idea why. Thank god my girlfriend was far enough behind that she wasn''t involved. To make it worse, when I was getting up, I saw a pair of headlights com on, then I heard the engine rev up and saw the headlighs lift.....this drunk A$$Hole was coming right at me. I thought he was trying to finish me off.... anyway, he swerved around me and just took off. Luckily, plenty of people at the party he was leaving told the cops who he was. He was driving a ''71 chevelle so he wasn''t hard to spot, he was pulled over and arrested about 30 minutes after it happened.
I hope everyone else had a better labor day weekend than I did. Please ride safe. In this situation there wasn''t a whole lot I could''ve done but remember, things can go horribly wrong in a split second so never let your guard down.

that sucks dude, what a dumb MF for thinking he could drive off like that. You make a mistake like that and the least you can do is stop. At least you walked away from it and you can repair the damage. Good luck with it all.
