I am currently riding a CBR600 F2 bike and need some info before modding the bike.

1. If I swap the rear wheel to a F3 5" rim could I fit a Pirelli supercorsa pro dragon 180/55/17 to it?

2. Or will the rear swingarm from a F4i fit the F2 and the front forks and running gear?

3. The brakes are useless on the stock bike, has anyone modded the complete front end from a fireblade or what else could I use i.e CBR600 RR for instance. Would want USD forks if possible?

as far as the brakes you could go with wave rotors and upgrade the calipers... dunno if you want to go that route tho with the wave rotors being $500+

I believe the F4 swingarm will swap, but the shock mount is different so it ends up raising the backend of the bike a lot, which means it won''t handle well, most of the honda stuff will swap pretty easy, any F4, RR or blade front end should bolt on

Is that you in the pic?  I run an F2 on the track too, so far its basically stock I''m going to get braided lines and maybe a windshield before the next one, but otherwise I have no problem running with brand new bikes, much to their chagrin, here''s a pic

I would look into first upgrading simply the calipers on the F3 before going nuts and buying a whole front end to install. I think up until like the F4i they used a 2 pot caliper on each side, which displeases me considering my old GS500 had a ZX636 front end with 4 pots that would do a stoppie like it was NOTHING.

Yep thats me in the pic taken last Sunday gone. I have just got hold of a FW rear rim and Pirelli Supercorsa Pro Dragon SC2. Hopefully the 180/55/17 should fit! The rear shock thats in the bike at the moment is from a F4i without any modification, just bolts right up. The handling is sweet although the trackday was in the wet. I have just got hold of two new wavy disks for £128, $250 in your money. Also ordered a full set of EBC HH sintered pads so hopefully this will do the trick when all mounted up. I had great fun on this 16 year old bike taking the piss out of big thou''s scared to lay there power down he he he. Over the winter was thinking about a 900cc fireblade motor transplant
