I just got the bright ass orange Icon squad backpack, It's nice for commuting or if you need to take alot of stuff, but the mid size pockets are kinda lacking... but it's great for daily commutes, holds on snug, and carries anything I could imagine.

been using a jack wolfskin bungee pack pack for 10 yrs and 80,000 miles in all weathers. has a parchute type clip on the straps stays in place at all speeds. in all that time and miles only thing to go wrong was a fabric tab came off a zip pull.

also try the knox aero pack pack.

I know if i end up spending $150 or more on a bag like most you have listed, id end up getting one from axio they are some slick looking bags just doesnt come with a place to put liquids unless you rig something yourself. But im like Fretless i got a $10 black jansport backpack that works just fine.

I ride with ICON. It has magnets for the tank or you can use it as a backpack (even holds your helmet). Not to pricey (not the cheapest either). I rode from Waukegan, IL to Detroit, MI with it on my back (06 CBR tank is to small for the magnets) and didn't have a problem.

Enjoy your shopping.
