hello ,
on my 1990 hurricane f1 dont know the location of the voltage regulator,
looked under the seat and rear fairings,
wondered if anyone knows if its under the tank ,front  left or right fairings.

on the f2 its on the right rear of the bike .
Its not charging the battery well , seems like a 1990s honda issue. so im trying to replace it with a beefier one.
thx, Joel

it is above the motor in the center, underneath the gas tank. easiest way to approach removing it is to take a 1/4" drive ratchet and 10mm socket  from either side.

I agree, this seems to have been an issue on the earlier CBR600''s for some reason.  one of only TWO issues I can complain about.

dont use a "beefier" one. use a replacement for that one. putting a more powerful r/r on the bike can possobly overchage the system and cause the battery and posibly the system to go bad faster by sending too many volts.

Agreed. and I''m a freakin small guy, and I STILL have trouble reaching that thing in there with my scrawny little fingers.  OEM is the best bet, although you''d think that by now they''d have superceded the original part with one that wont go bad or something huh?
