I have a 06 CBR 1000, and they say my stater is bad...my bike wont hold a charge, now I have to get a new one..the dealership wants 400 bux for this, does anyone know where I can get a new one any cheaper?

Honda issued a 6 year extended warranty on stators for 2004-2005 CBR1000RRs, although yours might be covered, too. (I have an ''05) Your Honda dealer is supposed to know about this. If they give you any problems contact:

thanks i have found that out but mine is a 2006 not covered
