FUEL PUMP QUESTIONS?? - 9/5/2008 10:20:28 PM    moto9   Posts: 5 Joined: 9/5/2008 Status: offline Hi, newbee here... I have a 99 f4 600, and it cranks fine but won''t start,  it has good spark, so I think the fuel pump is bad or one of the relays. There is good fuel supply to the pump and it is primed. When I turn on the key I can hear one click from a relay near the battery and one click from the fuel pump but no whiring-just one click. Shoud the fuel pump be spinning or buzzing when the key''s on??? or when the bike is running because I get one click and that''s it. I primed the carbs and got the bike to run for a few seconds and during that time the fuel pump was dead silent. Any help or advice would be awsome! Tks Post #: 1
