It''s confirmed.  They''re trying to bring Ben Speis over to Honda to ride with Dani Pedrosa.

I''m glad to see this happen, hopefully he''ll step up and ride to what I think is his potential.

Honda has been giving him he Sh*t end of the stick.  I just don''t get it with them...the arrogance.  They haven''t learned yet.

They were even Effing with him in 2006.  He had to work on the development bike for the RC212V when he was riding the 211 and he still won the championship.  Honda has a problem with loyalty.  They let excellent riders leave their stable (Rossi, Vermeulen, Edwards...the list is long).  And they all talk crap about the inner workings of HRC once they finally leave.  Let''s see if Nicky burns bridges too, but given his personality I doubt it.

I''m still as Honda fan!!! Its sad Nicky is leaving, but the show must go on. Hopefully Spies will sign with Honda & kick but. He looked good in Indy, got 6th place.

I think Spies is going to rock, I hope he does come to Honda. I also think Hayden will be better suited on a Ducati, and I will still root for him just like I still root for Rossi.

I just read Spies'' comments in the Oct Sport Rider.  He wants to get away from DMG as well as grow his career.  Leaving as 3x AMA Superbike Champion the last REAL Championship isn''t a bad way to go.

From a fan standpoint, I wished that he would have went to WSBK.  We need more American representation there to really make it a World Championship series.

I''m also sad to see Suzuki lose out on the investment they''ve made in Spies over the years.  I think the move to Honda will be good for Honda, perhaps they''ll get off their high horse and develop the bike around Spies and not have Dani continue to take the bike in the direction it''s going.  Honda can win with Spies aboard.  I look forward to seeing him take on Rossi, Stoner and a revitalized Hayden.  It''s going to be an exciting 2009 MotoGP season.

I look forward already much the the new season with Nicky and Ducati.
I hope.the season 2009 become again somewhat more exciting than the season 2008.
Naturally I am pleased for Sete Gibernau that he returned again to the MotoGP.
