I finally decided to fabricate a F/E. It's quite simple, bought a strip of 1" x 2' aluminum and cut and bent it to shape, drilled four holes, painted and done. Along with this project I installed an integrated turn signal.

Tell me what y'all think. Do you like the plate angle?

Looks good. I've always preffered DIY makes everything so much more fun. And its very rare that you will run into someone else with the exact same look...

Looks sharp bro, ensure you post a picture when it's all put back together.

Nice -- the tag angle is difinitely unique. Can't wait to see it with the tail section back on.

Here's the finished look. The black paint makes it stand out too much, should have left it unpainted. The bracket angle is too steep, in the future I'll make a new F/E and bolt it on to the lower bolt holes.

I also took this time to add reflective pinstriping to the tail. You like?

Yo, I think it looks pretty good. But I'm trying to picture it without the heatshield. I'm thinking that might help you out just a bit.

I'm thinking about painting the heat shield black. I haven't quite figured how to remove it though.

To be honest I wasn't really into it at first, but after you have the tail put back together it looks really good. Its something different, and I think if you painted the heat shield it would look even better. Good mod
