Hey guys,

I have been thinking about purchasing a 04-06 F4i that has been damged.   It has the  upper cowl, right side cowl, right bar, right lever, right mirror, right turn, muffler, tank, tail cowl plastic, and rear fender damaged, but it seems stricly cosmetic for the most part besides the pipe.   miles are under 3,000

its under 2000$ and was wondering how much a fix like this would be?

how much on average would knew ferrings and cowls be?

thanks

Got pics of it?
You  could always make it a Streetfighter too, but depends if you want to fix it mint condition.

My 2 cents.

Mmmm, Dimples

Oh, plasics...they can get very pricey if your lookin at a whole bike worth like that. You just gotta bunker down and start doing a lot of searches on each piece and get an average price per part (with shipping!) and add it all up plus say $200 for misc things not accounted for and then see what price your at. If your looking to do this work yourself, you''ll need to get into a diffrent mindset like doing reaserch yourself. Just keep things simple so it doesn''t get overwhelming.

You can get all new plastics on ebay for 500-600 shipped, granted they are aftermarket but I''ve heard they''ve come along in quality. They have tons of different colors too. A tank goes for between 120-200 on ebay...a few guys that have their ebay store are trying to get like 400, tell them to eat shit. The misc items like clipon, lever, mirror, windscreen, etc are cheap. I think if you shop right you can have it back looking nice for less than a grand if you don''t pick up a new yosh or two brothers pipe or something. Go for it, a low mile F4i for less than 3-3500 is a bargain...hopefully it has a rebuilt or clear title.

Tell me where it is so i can go buy it  I need a stunter. Or buy it and trade it to me + $3000 for my bike

To actually answer your question, write down what you need and do some internet shopping. Get some average prices on the parts needed and see what they add up to.
