What''s up people!  I''m new to the forum just stopping in to say hey!!!  I guess my first form of business would be a power commander question!  I have a power commander 3 ( USB )  it''s on my 2001 F4i.....  Any tips on how to set this thing up???  I just got the bike not too long ago and the guy told me he had it set to stock,  but I do have a slip on exhaust!  Was wondering if I needed to maybe tweek it a bit?  Was also thinking of cutting my can in half for a meaner sound,  so that would probably require more tweeking?  Any help or suggestions would be great!!!  Like I said i''t just begining to learn about the power commander.  I don''t want to touch it before I know what exactly the thing does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  THANKS

Welcome to the board!  PCIII is a wonderful thing ... lots of adjustments you can make.  You will need the software and a cable to hook up to your PCIII.  The manufacturer of your can should have a map you can download ... if you cut a bit off it will change things up a bit but not significantly to require a new map.  For the best performance go to a shop with a dyno and have them tune it.  Cost ya from $100-$200 and it will be custom to your bike alone.  The generic maps are all a bit rich.
