so what is the easiest way to get my bike as my picture wen i post stuff instead of that lil ball with light spining? (think its called avatar) any help would be great cus im gettin pissed. thanks

You have to make it much,much,much smaller to fit your avatar...

You are best to load your pic onto a remoter server ( photobucket ) like many in here use ...

Then just whack the url to the pic''''s as you use them. into the field once you hit the little (add image) picture box, when writing your posts..

Run your pics through .. photoshop or paint shop .. what ever you use ?

Re size the buggers to say 500x400 ish max imum .. save as a jpg ...optimize them for the web (reduces the kb size ) if your editing program has it ?

( For avatars )
The pics need to be resized down to the phsical and literal size that it warns you it will take when trying to load an avatar ...

If you understand none of this ... going with no pics is looking good mate

think i got it working. thanks for all your help guys. even tho its not my pic it still what my bike looks like. (so far haha)
