I have a 96 cbrf3 that I bought wrecked and turned it into a hard tail drag bike. The problem is that It had been running just fine until the main fuse blew.  When I replaced it the bike fired right up but, I noticed that the little black box gets very hot very fast and it doesn''t matter if the bike is on or not.  Anyone have any Ideas?  Thanks.

You have no suspension on the rear?  Even drag bikes use suspension to their advantage.

Anyways I''d make sure you put in the right fuse.  If you throw a 10amp fuse in a 30amp spot you are going to have a lot of resistance (Though I believe it should technically blow the fuse if you are pushing too much juice through.  But it''d basically be like a lightbulb).  Also if it gets hot while the bike is off then that means you have something probably hardwired to the battery and is powering something even with the key out of the ignition.
