I bought my 93 F2 in July.  The battery was ok for a week or so and then started to die.  I replaced the battery and it happened again.  I came on t his site and decided to replace my R/R, that worked for 2 or 3 weeks and now I am having the same problem.  The battery is once again dead.  I read somewhere on here that a guy replaced the plastic piece going into the R/R and that was his problem.  i noticed that the plastic clip going into the R/R is burnt up by one of the yellow wires, could this be the problem?  IF so where can i get a new one from?

P.S. i jump started the bike, it was running at 10.5 idle and went up to 11.8 at 5k rpms, any help is appreciated

sounds like either thr R/R again, or your stator went. that charging voltage is WAY  too low.
