I''ll ask, how was the tension on the chain? And that no OEM sprocket who ever said that. I''ve hard mixed reviews on Vortex sprockets, but good n bad like this. My driven gears are still goin strong.

You know, now that I think about it the sprocket may be a Parts Unlimited sprocket. Whatever that is lol. Yeah that''s me that''s trying to sell my bike. Horrible timing for this to happen! :(

sprockets aren''t that much...just return it stock if your trying to sale...screw aluminum though...save weight reductions for the track

ya thats not a vortex sprocket....it looks OEM. I have a Vortex sprocket on my bike and ive put 4,300 miles on it since ive bought the sprocket...and its getting close to replacing though. But overall a great sprocket for aluminum...not gonna lie. I ride my bike really hard too and this sprocket as held up really FN well!!!! .....ya that sprocket is the worst ive ever seen man!!!...lol get that fixed ASAP

ORIGINAL: F3Rider it looks OEM. Alright time to bitch smack someone. First off...7075-T6...is a grade of ALUMINUM METAL NOT STEEL. I used to work in a train yard for US Steel that dealt with all kinds of metal on a day to day basis...and that is NOT steel. 7075-T6 is ALUMINUM!!!!! And in case someone forgot...stock sprockets "OEM" on these bikes are STEEL

ORIGINAL: willduce i think the whole aluminum and/or 520 conversion thing was pretty much designed for track use where these parts get changed out much more frequently and shaving 1 pound actually makes a crap. if i want to go faster, ill just skip a few cheeseburgers.. So true, on the street that conversion means jack sh!t other than a reason to mod.
