Hey guys, I''m not new to bikes, just to Hondas. I just got a slightly modded 04 cbr 1000rr. It has moriwaki adjustable rear sets with the moto gp shift style. The only thing is, it''s 1 up, 4 down. Is the linkage just adjusted wrong? What happened to 6th gear?

Also, can anyone tell me the stock sprocket tooth counts front and rear? thanks.

stock sprockets should have been 16 front 41 rear.

Not sure what happened to 6th. I dont have any experience with that style shifter, but I would assume that since it shifts fine to all of the other gears, it would shift fine into 6th as well. the throw distance for the lever is the same for all gears, so an adjustment really wouldnt do anything.

My guess is somewhere along the line, your skipping a gear. My first guess would be your somehow skipping over second and going straight into 3rd...

just a guess though.
