when rideing my bike around , and when i stop sometimes i smell weird smells from the bike. almost like rubber but not really.

does anyone else get odd smells? maybe i am just paranoid.

havent smelled anything out of the ordinary but sometimes i hear weired sounds from my bike.

Check all the clearances on the tires to see if anything is rubbing, check for leaking oil or anything like that.

i have the same problem.. i think/hope mine is comming from road grime in the front part of the fairing, being heated up by the header.. but i'm not sure.. i tried spraying it out with a hose but i really need to get in there.

I've seen smoke come from that area too but i think what ever it was is about burned away now since i dont see smoke or really smell it anymore.

i have been driving thru a contruction area alot lately cause there working on one of the main roads here.. maybe its shit kicked onto the headers.

I think you're right. I get that smell sometimes, in my case it's a little oil on the headers. Has anyone noticed the cool thing about titanium headers...? They are hot as hell with the engine running, but are cool to the touch like 3 minutes after shutdown. Titanium really sheds the heat.

Be careful to, this could also be a warning that the Battery is overloading and getting to great of a charge. I had a CBR 600 that did that to me 3 times till I figured out what was going on.
