The T-rex is only $25 while the Vortex are $75. How does the T-Rex compare to the Vortex? I feel like the I''m just paying an extra $50 for the just name by getting the Vortex.

They are pretty much all the same. Mine are 20 dollar ebay sliders. They function just the same. Just make sure you get the ones with long bolts and extend out a lot. Also make sure they are delrin.

their going to be the same length. one might actually be a little thicker than the other. Also, when the frame sliders are on the bike, most of the time the right frame slider will stick out farther than the left.

my buddy wrecked his bike with knock-off sliders and they did nothing, in fact the bolt that held them on bent and caused MORE damage than if he simply didn''t have sliders.  i recently wrecked my bike with vortex sliders and they did an amazing job.  pay the extra money to get the extra quality.

notice the LACK of damage to my fairings and how well the slider shaved down.  also keep in mind it''s a FRAME slider not a fairing slider, there will always be some cosmetic damage, but my bike is mechanically perfect and perfectly straight.

If you must buy crappy ebay sliders then at least go to ace hardware and buy some stronger grade 8 bolts to attach them with. They always come with grade 5 and bend/break every time.

T-rex said their bolts are 12.9 grade allen bolts.

dont use no-cuts esp on the F4/i*s. Look at where the bracket will be located and what it will smash into whens it bends.
