is it possible to swap the front brake reservoir to the round twist-off type found on newer bikes? if so, what will I need? this screwing and unscrewing has almost stripped the screws on the box.

yeah you can use a newer style master cylinder, I am using one off a 954 but any modern sportbike m/c will work

all you need to do this mod is the master cylinder, reservoir, the appropriate banjo bolt for that master(they''re almost ALL different) and you''re good to go.

I''m running an SV650 remote reservoir master on my Hurricane with no issues.  wouldnt mind having a radial though.

that''s exactly what you need, the whole lever assembly, but you can find used ones for much much less than that, probably around $40
