does the front brake lever actuate the brake light on this bike? only reason im asking is because after i installed Hightech speeds' UFO led brake light kit the front brake lever does not light the brake light. only the rear brake. the kit had a harness so i couldn't have done anything wrong.

No matter which one is pressed, you should have the brakelight come on. Something must have been messed up during the install.

I have that same kit. my brake lights work fine but my turn signals dont work right. i think it because i dont have any front turn signals. did you cut off the stock bulb housing or did you splice into the stock wires?

check your front brake line because if the rear brakes lever activate the brakes then it should be hooked up right.

stock wires. turn signals front and the integrated work great! i love this kit. but the front lever brake light is really odd. shouldn't that all be connected before it reaches the back end?

I cannot say about anyone else's Erion. I bought mine used an it already had a clear lens with red bulbs behind it. All I know is that front lever or rear pedal and that sucker is lit up bright and clear.

Got a 2001 929 - both brake pedal and lever activate brake light. You haven't mentioned whether or not you are sure the hand lever was activating the brake light before the kit install. There is an adjustable switch on foot lever - don't think the switch on the hand lever is adjustable, but you can listen for it's audible click when you squeeze the lever. Also it's easy to hook up an ohmmeter to check it..

Sometimes if you do not have enough resistance in the system the thing just doesn't work. I found this to be a problem with having LED's all the way around my bike. You may need to install a set of ceramic resistors to make it work.

No, it is just that LED's do not draw enough current to activate the OEM relay, therefore, you have to install resistors.

Stand by on the part number I will get that to you. However, you install the resistors in series, not in line.
