I have 50k ham-fisted miles on my F2 and it''s right as rain.Keep the front wheel on the ground, watch your valves and use good filters.

My 1997 F3 has 38k miles, which is, let''s see, x8/5 = 60,800 km. Poor thing only had 21k when I bought it a little over 2 years ago, so it really wasn''t ridden much till I got it. The engine should be good for 200k km. Things like bearings, etc. will wear out and need replacing over the life of a bike, but if you keep up on that stuff you can pretty much keep it on the road as long as you want.
