Can somebody please tell me how to place
a picture in the profile.And why arent any of
the photos showing up on my cp in the member gallery?

First you have to create an avatar of 40 KB size and 145x145 px
Then just go to your profile un hit the ( upload my picture (will replace the existing one)

Look for the image you created through your P/C and upload the bugger mate ...
