I wear the same stuff as in the winter. Got an armored jacket that has a lining that zips out for summer. The vents will keep me cool enough as long as traffic isn't bad.....lol. Still get the protection minus the weight and heat of the liner. That's just me though. I am sure that others do too. LJ

yo mang...them mesh stuff will be ok for cruising in traffic, but if it's ever too hot to gear up, then it's too hot to ride.

well i live in vegas myself (well in winters now, i get the hell out of here when it hits summer).. but get the best mesh you can.. if you living in Vegas full-time, the winter gets to 40-50 the lowest and the highs are like 90-118. which is crazy for leather.. go to the dealerships on boulder highway and check out the appeal, find the mesh that has the more ventialation (sp?).. pretty much stick with light colors or White, NO BLACK (sorry dawg, vegas is not a great place for black - science 101).. also might want to think about getting a camel pack (backpack with a water supply) Well if you were here on x-mas, you saw it was 70 degrees - so this summer is going to be one of the worst, so you got to keep cool and still be protected.. and if you are cold-blooded like me, you will need a leather jacket as well for the winter. it's probbly just me, I'm a wuss to cold - you live in vegas your whole life, you love the heat.. But I dont know how technology is on the leather jackets now a days, they could have vents inside them - which might be better. Just be careful in Vegas, about traffic and about yourself being cooled - the heat alone here can make people pass out (that's not including that machine between your legs) like tahoe said - but over 100+ degrees, just take it out at night.

i wear a joe rocket ballistic mesh jacket and jeans with my dainese race gloves and it works well in the heat. i agree with tahoe "if its too hot too gear up, then its to hot to ride"

hmm, well if you go over 200 mph - the heat waves from the sun actually turn to cold (it's like hitting the sound barrier, but different) so just keep going over 200 and you will be fine haha. I'm so joking right now, but get the best mesh then- go to the honda dealership on boulder highway (or the suzuki dealership right down the street from it). just check them out, feel out which has the best vent and then just go online and buy one (so you can get the best price, dealerships are a bunch of SHARKS)

very bad sun burn haha... na just playing, i was racing thru athemn about 75mphs (well seven hills is nice and all, but it's a small circle while athemn just keeps on going and has some nice twists) well got all the way to construction side of it, and start to show off - lost control, and went down with the ship.. i think it was two years ago on July, about 110 degrees out and just a wife-beater and cargo pants - well you can see what happens when skin meets asphalt, but i was wearing a helment and it did save my life (i went over the median completely and i did hit my head on the median curb, and then slid about 100 ft or so) good thing is, no broken bones, i didnt die - and it was actually god telling me to be smarter because i did hear Idaho had a "no helmet law" and well what do you think?.. so now im 2 years wiser, and just want the opp. to get back on a bike - kind-of forget how much fun a bike even without that stupid stunt shit. Now the accident wont stop me from pulling the throttle back now and then and hitting triple digits. But I will charisty my future bike more, wear protection every ride, and remember that bikes are bullet - and bullets can kill. be safe man, vegas is a dangerous city - Accidents everyday...
