I have been riding little dirt bikes sicne i was 6 years old. i have years of experience, but i realize that it doesnt even have to be my fault in an accident, it can be 99% the other persons fault, but if you get in an accident, it could be injury/death. On June 10, 2008, my 3 friends and i went out on a sunny sunday afternoon out in the country in Wisconsin. We were out for a few hours and it was amazing out. I was 3rd in the line up with 2 in front and 1 in back of me. We came up on a curve and i took it higher then normal because of rocks in the road( i was near the center line) At the same time, a Chevy trailblazer also took the corner high. According to my buddy behind me, i flipped several times 20 ft in the air until landing on my back. When i was laying there, my buddy ran up to me and saw the blood running down my face inside my helmet. He asked if i was ok, and i said yeah, help me up, i then tried to help my self up and couldnt, he had to hold me down. When the first responders responded, they called for ThedaStar(medical holicopter) to transport me, however they were busy. They then attempted Eagle One(Green Bay Helicopter) and they were busy also. When more first responders should up, they called the heliocopters off, and said i only had a broken arm. When they were getting ready to put me in the back of the ambulance, they dropped me(how thoughtful). I had a 35 minute ride back to St. Elizabeth hosiptal where i layed on the stretcher for 7 hours because they couldnt treat me because they didnt have a (tramua unit). I was then going to be transported to Thedacare in Neenah, WI or UW madison or Milwuakee. I got to Thedacare, and was emmeditaly put into several tests. They soon had me in surgery at 3 in the morning monday. Turns out i shattered both my wrists, broke several fingers, Punctured lung, 6 inch open book pelivis fracture, Shattered right hip. I then got a blood clot a few days later. I spent 3 weeks in the hosiptal unable to move. 2 days before i was being discharged, i spotted something!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i asked a nurse if they could take an xray of my big left toe. They said they didnt need to, it was fine. i wouldnt quit!!!! i knew somethin wasnt right haha. I asked the doctor and sure enough, it was another broken bone that needed more screws. i WIN!!!! NURSE!! AFter my luxery 3 week stay at the hospital, i was lucky enough to head to Peabody manor. This is a Nursing home where i lived for the next 30 days. i never thought i would be living with 70+ people but it was a good time, i was 19 so it took some adjusting. being safe guys, everytime you go out for a ride, think to your self that you are going to get in an accident today, that way you will keep your self alert and aware. Turns out that this was only going to be a broken arm Thumbnail Image

my injuries are too many to write full stories for each so here''s some pics and quick summeries (and btw......that shit is INSANE in your pic/post man!!!!!!!) i had a yfz450 in ''04/''05....... 1st accident on that (no pics to add) i dislocated my shoulder and broke my collarbone (broken collarbone hurts WAAAAAAAAAY more than anything i''ve done to myself so far in my 23yrs on this earth, easily!) 2nd accident on the yfz, stunted the shit out of it all the time. i was doing a 2nd gear seat stander and was gonna do a combo/jump to seated wheelie and for some goddamn reason, i still have no idea.........i ended up sliding down the left side of the seat and down the side of the quad (front wheels still up). i got up and saw blood squirting up in the air and looked down to see this. the rear grab bar had slided into my arm and cut through my muscle. as said above about the collarbone.....trust me, the collarbone hurt worse than THIS. to be 100% honest.........flesh wounds dont hurt all that bad, just a slight burning feeling, but bearable. then......i sold the quad and bought my ''01 F4i. 1st accident after 30k miles in one year of accident free riding, i struck a deer doing around 50/60mph. end result, chipped bone on left thumb (still gives me problems and hurts), and road rash on left knee (had on textile jacket, dickies, work boots, gloves, helmet)...... 2nd accident on the F4i was about a month or so after the deer. i dont remember any of it but apperantly i highsided while hanging a left and went upsidedown smacking my head on a curb (giving me a concusion) and snapping a big thick wooden guardrail w/ my back (THANK GOD for the back hump on my jacket, otherwise i''d be paralyzed). BUT, absolutely NO injuries.....i was fully geared head to toe in leathers. my personal reminder from that accident to keep me in check, to slow it down and keep the hard leans for a trackday. this letter stays where i keep my keys......so every morning i wake up and grab the keys to go out the door, i see this..... those are my accidents thus far, lol.........

Ducati Monster v/s deer Two surgeries, 14 screws, three plates, 55 staples...I walked away, deer wasn''t so lucky. Had on full leathers and helmet, and besides this mess, no rash, bruises, not even sore the next day...wear your gear kids. Doc said the break was from the impact with the deer, as the bone was broken the wrong direction for it to have occurred from the fall. And yes, those are bone fragments floating around in the x-ray of my arm...
